About These Terms

These terms apply when you use betterdriveways.uk (the "site"). The site is run by Better Home Hub Ltd (company number 16605946, registered office Unit A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, England, IP28 7DE), referred to here as "we" or "us". By using the site you accept these terms. We may update them; the date above shows when they last changed.

What the Site Does

Better Driveways is an introduction service for driveway, repair and patio jobs. We do not carry out, supervise or inspect any work. When you send an enquiry, we may introduce you to an independent local driveway specialist, who may pay us a fee for the introduction. Using the site is free and you are under no obligation to hire anyone.

We cannot promise to find a specialist for every enquiry, or say how quickly one will contact you.

Your Agreement Is With the Specialist

Any quote or contract for work is between you and the specialist. We are not a party to it, and we do not vet, insure or guarantee specialists or their work. Before you agree to anything:

• Get a written quote and contract that say what is included
• Check the specialist's insurance, and check any scheme membership on that scheme's own register
• Agree payment stages and any guarantee in writing before work starts
• Ask how they will deal with planning permission or building regulations if the job needs them

Information on the Site

Our guides, price ranges and calculators are general information, not a quote or professional advice for your home. Prices are typical ranges and your job may cost more or less. Rules on planning and building regulations change and differ between England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, so check with your local council or GOV.UK before relying on them.

Our Responsibility to You

We are not responsible for work carried out, or not carried out, by a specialist, or for what a specialist says or charges. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud, and nothing affects your legal rights as a consumer.

Using the Site Fairly

• Only send enquiries about real jobs, with details that are true and your own
• Don't use the site for anything unlawful or try to disrupt it
• Don't copy the site's content for commercial use without our permission

Law and Contact
